I am trying to parlay a hobby into a mini business. I happen to love animal-themed earrings and could never find enough of them, so decided to create my own. Mostly, I've just been having fun messing around with brightly colored paint (oh yeah, I also love brights) and some small wooden animal-shaped blanks, but my daughter seems to think that they could be salable. She'll help set me up on-line, she says. So I figure, what the heck, why not.
Here's why not: I am not a computer person. I live in a house with 5 (one husband, four kids) other people who range from tech-comfortable to downright techno-geeky, so by the process of osmosis, if nothing else, I've learned the basics. I can Google. I can Gmail. I've even, very recently managed to figure out how to use Pandora --- and I'm very proud of myself, believe me! But this stuff? Jpeg? Html? Building files, moving files, editing, cropping, resizing ---ARGGGH!
I'm drowning here. Halp.
